Three Things...

Thing #1:  Just a reminder that I'll be away from BUSP April 4-13.  If you need help with timesheet issues during that time, please let Jeri (jesander@indiana.edu) know.  If you need help with anything else, please check with your supervisor.

Thing #2:  When I return on the 14th, I hope to begin scheduling for this summer.  If you are planning on working at BUSP this summer, please leave your schedule request form in my mailbox by that time.

Thing #3:  I want to thank all of you for your diligence in helping us locate leaks, and for all your patience and good humor as we face what the construction has brought us.  May BUSP be dry very soon!

Summer & Fall Scheduling

Summer class scheduling time is here now and fall class scheduling is coming up quickly.  As soon as you've completed your class schedule, please fill out a work request scheduling form.  You'll find boxes with forms for summer sessions and fall semester on our break room tables. Give completed forms to me (Terry) or put them in my mailbox.  I'll do my best to give you the work schedule of your dreams!

Around the Bend

WELCOME BACK!  It's hard for me to believe, but we are in the home stretch of this academic year.  How quickly time passes at my age!  I hope you had a very enjoyable break and are ready to end this year on a high note.

Now that Spring Break is over, my thoughts are turning to summer. If your summer plans will keep you in Bloomington and you would you like to continue your employment at BUSP, please see me or send me an e-mail (treynold@Indiana.edu).  If your plans aren't yet firm, but staying is a possibility for you, let me know that too.

Good News and Possible Bad News

The good news is that IU has plans to lift its minimum wage to $10.00 per hour.  When that happens, you'll be getting a nice raise!  Unfortunately, it sounds like our budget may very well not get a raise to cover your raise.  This means that if you are an undergraduate, having workstudy funding for next year may be more important than ever for employment at BUSP.  Please apply for workstudy funding when you fill out your FAFSA.

Got questions about any of this?  Let me know.  --Terry
