Top Secret Information
Did you know you handle secret information every time you clock in at BUSP? It's against federal law to disclose what someone has borrowed from a library or information commons. Every check out we make, from books to room keys, is private information. This means we can't tell Sally who has checked out the reserve book she needs. It means we can't tell Joe what room his group is using. (We can tell him he's welcome to peek in all the room windows to find his group.) It even means we should keep our reservation book to ourselves. Got someone standing in front of you begging for information you can't give them? Tell your supervisor. He/she will reinforce your stand on privacy.
