Room Reservation Policy Review

Room Reservation Policy:

Rooms 154, 156, 158, and 160 may be reserved up to a week in advance for groups of two or more, except during I-Core and finals week. Reservations are limited to one 2 hour period per group per day.  The group member requesting the reservation must present his/her university ID at the service desk when making the reservation and also when picking up the key at the reserved time.  Keys will only be checked out to the group member who made the reservation.  Keys not picked up within ten minutes of the reserved start time will be made available to others on a first come, first serve basis.  Reserved rooms may be renewed for another two hour period as long as the room is free for the next two hours and no wait list exists.  Fines for keys returned late accumulate at the rate of $10.00 per hour or any part of an hour.

Note that groups (not just an individual in a group) are limited to one two hour reservation per day.  This means that if Joe and Sally are in a group and Sally has made a reservation for Tuesday, Joe cannot make another reservation for them later on Tuesday.  It isn't always easy to police this part of the policy, but we do the best we can in fairness of all groups wanting rooms.
