As the end of
the semester approaches, we'd like to take the opportunity to highlight our
graduating students. This is a bittersweet moment for us as we will miss them
terribly, but we wish them much success in the future. Their contributions to
our library during their time here have been invaluable to the success of our
library and are appreciated more than they know.
So, we thought
it would be awesome for them to share a few words about their time here at the
Business/SPEA Library.
Where are you from? Crown Point, Indiana
How long have you worked at the Business/SPEA Library? Since Spring of my freshman year, so 2 years ago.
What is your position here at the library? Regular PSA and not Senior PSA
What did you enjoy about working at the library? I like sitting really high on the chairs to the point of having to do a small leap to get off.
Do you have a favorite memory of the library, Indiana University or
Bloomington you’d like to share? This past summer, all the times I got to sit and talk with Jeri and/or Matt! It was nice to see the library be so quiet while also getting to have good conversations.
What is your degree & major? A Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Second Language Acquisition and a minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures with a focus on China.
What are you plans after leaving IU? I'm unfortunately coming back to the building and getting a Masters in Management through Kelley.
Any farewell thoughts that you’d like to share? The dog statue in this photo is a representation of South Korea in the effort to combine the Koreas, I wish I was kidding.
Thank you Lily for being a part of the Business/SPEA Library team. Congratulations &
Best Wishes in the future!
